Updated over 7 months ago

Images play an integral role in the Loialcard system, defining the overall user experience that Loialcard members can expect. Images contribute to creating a visually engaging and memorable interaction. Key modules within the Loialcard app where images have a significant impact include:

  1. Event

  2. Pages

  3. Location

  4. Card Themes

Each of these modules has specific image requirements that must be met to enhance user engagement and maintain the quality of the Loialcard experience. Let’s explore these requirements in the next section.

Let’s first discuss Images in the Events Module:

In the Events module of the Loialcard system, images can be easily managed by clicking on the image field or dragging and dropping an image from your folder directly into the field. Loialcard image fields support the following formats: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif, and .svg.

The recommended image aspect ratio for the Event module image field is 10:4, or 600px in width and 240px in height. These dimensions ensure the image is displayed beautifully on the member’s screen without distortion when uploaded.

Images in Page Module:

In the Page module, you can upload an image for the page header section by either clicking the upload option or dragging and dropping a file. This allows you to select a relevant image that reflects the content of the page.

You can also link this page to the home screen menu via the settings. If the page is linked to the home screen, the uploaded image will appear on the members' app. This image plays a key role in representing the page’s purpose and setting the tone for your brand, so it's important to choose an image that aligns with your message carefully.

How can you use looped GIFs in Loilcard:

If you wish to create a GIF consisting of multiple images that are repeatedly played on a loop, you can do that. The short animated looped GIF creates a visually appealing frame of images.

Images in Location Module:

The Location module has a field for adding location-specific images. Just like other modules, the accepted formats for location module images include .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif, and .svg. The recommended size ratio for location images is 10:3, with dimensions of 600px in width and 180px in height.

These images serve to visually convey the type of experience Loialcard members can expect at the specific location, making it important to select an image that accurately represents the setting and ambiance of that place

Images in Card Themes Module:

Card theme modules have 3 different fields that allow you to upload an image. This image is an actual representation of the membership card that will be assigned to the members when they onboard.

The accepted formats for card theme fields are .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif, and .svg. The landscape image accepted size ratio is 8:5, width- 800px, height- 500px.

For portrait images, the accepted size ratio is 5:8, width 500px, height-800px. For card logo images the accepted size ratio is 10:4, width 800px and height- 320px.

The images for different membership cards assigned to a member will appear on the member’s screen as shown below.

Image in Member's module:

The members' module has the option to delete and upload a new image for the member's profile.

The accepted formats for the image fields are .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .GIF, .svg

Note: The dimensions mentioned in each of the modules are suggested for better visibility of images on the member’s screen. Admin can upload any image size, however, it will be adjusted as per the mentioned ratio for each module using the image editor that we have introduced.
