Introducing Image Optimizer in Loialcard

Updated over 8 months ago

At Loialcard, we always work to enhance control and performance across all modules. With our latest update, we're excited to introduce the Image Optimizer feature—a tool designed to streamline how images are displayed throughout the platform.

The Image Optimizer is available across all modules in Loialcard, ensuring consistent, high-quality visuals throughout your app.

What is Image Optimization?

The Image Optimizer ensures your visuals look perfect in every module by automatically adjusting images to fit predefined aspect ratios tailored to the app’s design. Whether you're uploading banners, product photos, or profile images, Loialcard will optimize them for the best visibility and performance.

We have optimized the system to ensure faster page loading times and quicker responses of listing pages on various modules like page, event, location, etc. Admins no longer need to worry about manually resizing images before uploading—they can upload images of any size, and the configured tool will automatically adjust them according to the appropriate aspect ratio.

Please note that the aspect ratio adjustment does not apply to images uploaded in description fields across all modules.

How Does Image Optimization Work?

  1. Automatic Aspect Ratio Adjustment
Upload any image, regardless of its original size, and it will automatically adjust to fit the specific aspect ratio defined for that field.

  2. Customization Options
After uploading, you can personalize your images using a variety of editing tools:

    • Crop to focus on key details.

    • Apply Filters to enhance colors and style.

    • Fine-tune brightness, contrast, and other settings.

    • Add Frames to give your image a polished look.

    • Resize images while maintaining aspect ratio integrity.

    • Decorate with stickers or overlays.

    • Redact sensitive information as needed.

  3. Smart Resizing
When resizing, the image is processed based on your selected dimensions and automatically adjusted to maintain the correct aspect ratio for optimal display.

  4. Image Scaling:

Once, you are done with the necessary adjustments, you can use the image scaling feature to reduce the size of the image further if required.

Here is the list of aspect ratios allowed in various modules.

The resolution given below is just for reference and actual resolutions can be different. The aspect ratio remains constant for respective modules and you can adjust the resolution accordingly for better visibility.
