The Admin Panel and How Entities Are Interconnected

Updated over 7 months ago

The admin panel is the starting point of all you can configure, edit, add, or delete in your app. General settings such as menu items, and branding colors are managed in the section Settings.

The app revolves around the members, the content around them, and the push notifications you as an admin can send to them.

Members

  • Users can become members of your app by signing up and in the onboarding provide at least the basic information of email address, password, first and last name as well as a profile image. This renders them a membership card and if approved (either automatically by the system or if so desired manually per member) access to the logged-in sections of your app

  • Each member has a membership card. Upon registration, they are provided the card theme marked as the entry card and as administrator, you can assign them any other card theme you have set in the system

  • Members can be manually sorted into Groups, and these can be used under Notifications to send push notifications to specific users. Read more about Members in the article

Content

  • There are four content types in the app:

    • Locations: Standardized info about a geographic location. Each location can be set to be displayed in the Location list (a specific standard page type in the app) and/or on the Map (a specific function/page in the app)

    • Events: Standardized info about a time-based event. Events are listed in the specific standard page Events). Read more about the events in the article.

    • Pages: A more free form of content where you as an administrator can create as many as you like and link them together by pointing one page to one or many other pages (or external links). A page can also include a Form selected among the forms created under the Forms section. Read more about Pages in the article

    • Forms: A simple type of form including a free text form field letting members answer a specific question with all committed answers (and if configured for this, also updated answers) under the specific form in the Forms section of the admin panel. Read more about Forms in the article

Notifications

  • This function lets you as an admin send push notifications to selected members, either right away or later per schedule. Read more about Notification in the article

  • Admin can define a landing destination in the notification.
